Key Responsibility Areas
- Plan and coordinate records management activities.
- Provide a registry and records management service.
- Provide an electronic records management and scanning service for the unit.
- Supervise key personnel and ensure performance targets are achieved
- Provide an appropriate procurement service and mitigate risks.
- Provide an appropriate financial service and section asset control.
- Source, provide and disseminate functional information to relevant stakeholders.
- Conducting records management workshops for the unit to enforce the Municipal Registry/Records procedures manual and Records Management Policy.
- Provide reports and specific administrative requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Records Management, or any other related and equivalent qualification.
- Computer Literacy.
- 3 Years relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Records Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
- 4 Years relevant experience.
