About the Role
The Information Management Officer drives high-RPM clinical efficiency by managing health informatics data and ensuring 100% compliance with POPIA and national health standards. Utilizing ServiceNow for incident orchestration and AWS for cloud data hosting, the officer minimizes operational risk in healthcare reporting. Their expertise leverages data-driven diagnostics to optimize patient information flow and ensures the technical reliability of the provincial health data network.
- Appropriate experience in Information Management.
- Diploma/ Degree in Information Systems or relevant qualification.
- Effective Information Management. Effective Training and Development. Effective and Efficient Management Support. Effective and efficient End User Support. Effective Management of Component.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and processes pertaining to Information Management. Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools. Knowledge of ICT policies and procedures. Knowledge of business process analysis, mapping, modelling and re-engineering. Knowledge of relevant policies, prescripts and standards within the DoHW and CEI environment.
- Ability to deal with sensitive information that relates to the investigation of death scenes and autopsy examinations. Ability to comprehend regulations and Standard Operating Procedures and apply them to operations. Above average Computer and Software Literacy in Office Suite Applications (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Power BI). Strategic Planning and Project Management. Information Technology.
- Valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
- R 397 116 per annum – R 467 790 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer’s contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
