Job Summary:

• We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with in-depth expertise in Cross Border Payments or EXCON (Exchange Control) processes. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring seamless delivery of financial services projects. This role requires a deep understanding of payment systems, regulatory frameworks, and operational workflows within the banking or financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Domain Expertise:

• Provide expert guidance on cross-border payment systems or EXCON regulations.
• Interpret compliance requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.

Solution Design:

• Work with technology teams to design robust, scalable solutions.
• Create functional specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.

Project Coordination:

• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
• Ensure project timelines, deliverables, and objectives are met.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Conduct workshops, presentations, and regular updates for stakeholders.
• Address queries and provide insights to resolve business challenges.

Testing and Validation:

• Assist in developing test plans and validating solutions against business needs.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production rollouts.

Required Skills and Experience:

Domain Expertise:

• Proven experience in Cross Border Payments (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, ACH) or EXCON regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of global payment systems and frameworks (e.g., ISO 20022, FX regulations).

Analytical Skills:

• Ability to analyze complex workflows and propose streamlined solutions.
• Strong data interpretation and reporting skills.

Technical Proficiency:

• Experience with payment platforms and tools (e.g., payment hubs, reconciliation systems).
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and middleware in payment systems.

Regulatory Knowledge:

• Familiarity with international exchange control policies and compliance mandates.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
