JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The company is looking for a highly motivated Senior Finance Manager: Operations to contribute to and implement our strategy, lead people, improve systems, establish policies, and reduce risk. This is an excellent opportunity to find new ways to help us achieve our goals and grow the company business. The successful incumbent will be comfortable with change, proactive, and frequently generate new ideas.
- This role will report directly to the Financial Director.
EDUCATION:
- CA(SA)
- Relative Business bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience with ERP system migration.
- At least 5+ years’ experience in a senior leadership role in a similar environment.
- Proven experience as a finance manager.
- Excellent planning and budgeting skills.
- Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.).
- Strong analytical ability and experience in analyzing large data sets and interpreting the data.

DUTIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day operations.
- Implement strategy and set goals for business growth.
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
- Set business policies and processes.
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
- Manage debtor and creditors team.
- Maintain/update Evolve reports for balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage overall pricing strategy and related processes.
- Review and motivate new clients in line with credit risk guidelines, controls, and policies.
- Direct the employee assessment process.
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).
- Maintain strategic relationships with executives and management teams.
- Combine efforts and foster a collaborative environment within the business.
- Improve the capacity of the department by improving operational efficiencies.
- Develop team members through regular training and mentorship.
- Manage talent and succession planning.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare and manage monthly and annual report submissions and present these to the company
