  • As a seasoned Senior Human Resource Development (HRD) practitioner, you understand that success hinges not only on technical expertise but also on the mastery of soft skills.
  • We are looking for an individual who is passionate about imparting skills to others to join our Human Resources team as a Trainer.
  • You will be responsible for facilitating learning programmes, developing learning material and aligning learning material to relevant unit standards and business needs, this includes conducting training needs analysis, facilitating learning interventions, execute assessments, moderation and quality assurance of all learning programmes.
  • Conducting needs analysis to support the Group’s strategic objectives.
  • Collecting information on an ongoing basis to identify potential issues or problems regarding skills gaps.
  • Developing a full learning programme according to outcomes-based principles.
  • Determining learning outcomes and essential embedded knowledge of learners prior to engagement on learning programme/s.
  • Designing and incorporating additional training resources that are compatible with the learning programme.
  • Facilitating training programmes to learners (HO, Insurance, Funeral) based on individual, team and organisational training needs analysed to achieve set objectives.
  • Actively prepare the training environment by offering outcomes-based training programmes aligned to organisational strategic focus to enable the application of new skills and knowledge to close the identified learning gaps.
  • Facilitating group activities to build on learners’ knowledge, skills and background through formal and informal learning.
  • Monitoring training process and continually assess learners’ progress to aid learners achieve learning objectives.
  • Mastering assessment process by adhering to SAQA requirements, company assessment policy and procedure, criteria, guide and instruments.
  • Determining if training objectives were met and to what extent in order to assess employees’ development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resource
  • Qualified Assessor
  • Qualified Moderator
  • 5 Years experience practical facilitation in soft skills and managerial training
  • 3 Years experience as  Assessor and moderator
  • 2 Years experience in coaching and mentoring
