KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching and Learning
- Teaching assigned classes according to the NWU teaching and learning strategies, ensuring required throughput and achieving student-lecturer evaluation scores in accordance with the university’s expectations.
Research
- Research outputs as to be discussed with programme leader and deputy director.
Community Engagement
- Actively contribute to community engagement projects as part of the School of Accounting Sciences.
Minimum requirements
- A Master of Commerce in Accountancy or equivalent (NQF level 9).
- A member of SAICA as a CA(SA).
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the field as an Accountant.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in teaching Accountancy at a SAICA-accredited university.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Published articles in accredited journals.
