Job Description

• Our client is seeing a Senior Management Accountant whose key role is to guide financial decisions, driving profitability, and supporting sustainable growth within a fast-paced manufacturing FMCG environment.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse and interpret financial and operational performance to support business decision-making.
• Lead costing, margin analysis, and variance reporting across key product and operational areas.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance packs.
• Maintain full IFRS-compliant accounting records and ensure strong internal controls.
• Partner with Production, Sales, and Operations teams to optimise efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee month-end close, stock reconciliations, and standard costing reviews.
• Support audits, risk management, and financial governance.
• Drive improvements in ERP systems, reporting automation, and business intelligence (BI) dashboards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members.

What You’ll Bring

• BCom Degree (or equivalent qualification).
• CIMA qualification (or studying towards it) highly beneficial.
• 5+ years’ experience in management accounting, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in costing and margin management.
• Advanced Excel skills (Power BI experience a plus).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
