Summary:
- We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing, Sales & CSR to lead and align our brand, customer acquisition efforts, and social impact strategy. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving growth, brand visibility, revenue, and community engagement across South Africa’s fast-evolving fibre internet landscape.
Key Objectives:
Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead digital marketing, branding, PR, events, and communication campaigns.
- Ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints and customer-facing channels.
- Manage and grow customer engagement and retention through data-driven insights.
- Monitor and analyse marketing KPIs; adjust strategy as needed.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Oversee the national sales strategy across B2B, B2C, and wholesale segments.
- Manage high-performing sales teams, setting targets and driving performance.
- Build strategic partnerships with ISPs, developers, estate managers, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to improve conversion rates, upselling, and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to align offerings with market needs.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Develop and lead the company’s CSR strategy, with a focus on digital inclusion, education, and local community upliftment.
- Build partnerships with NGOs, schools, municipalities, and government bodies.
- Ensure CSR initiatives align with company values and deliver measurable impact.
- Represent the brand at public forums and community engagements.
Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor the marketing, sales, and CSR teams to achieve high performance.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting for all three functional areas.
- Act as the voice of the customer and community at the leadership level.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Honours/MBA preferred).
- 10 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership roles.
- Experience in the telecommunications, tech, or fibre network sector highly preferred.
- Proven track record in building brands and achieving aggressive sales targets.
- Deep understanding of the South African market and socio-economic landscape.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
