Your main tasks will be:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and service excellence across Morocco and South Africa.
- Oversee the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers in both countries, negotiating contracts, ensuring quality standards, and managing performance.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and service levels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory across both countries.
- Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with local laws and regulations, including customs, import/export regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while meeting service level targets.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including supply disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical factors in both countries.
- Facilitate the Regional S&OP meetings including monthly demand review and play a key role in driving alignment between demand and supply and the desired inventory level from a logistical and financial perspective.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to all Supply Chain activities.
- Responsible for local Supply Chain KPIs like performance to financial budget/forecast, cash flow improvement (inventory), On-Time-In-Full distribution and warehouse measures of effectiveness
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a professional certification (CSCP, CPIM).
- 7 years of experience in an international supply chain organization (healthcare, MedTech, or food industry) with expertise in logistics, inventory management, transportation, and procurement.
- Proven experience leading high skilled and diverse teams.
- Ability to work in complex, fast-changing environments.
- Results-driven, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, capable of representing the supply chain function in cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Procurement, Marketing).
- Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of French, Arabic is an advantage.
- IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP (SD & MM modules), warehouse management software (Elvis, WM, EWM), and planning software (SAP APO, SAP IBP)
