Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6) in Public Administration/Political Science/ Public Management/ Development Studies/Public Governance/Social Sciences as recognised by SAQA
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in municipal administration or municipal governance environment
  • A valid driver’s license.

Duties:

  • Conduct regular municipal council audits and assessments
  • Provide Municipal Councils oversight and monitoring
  • Develop and review guidelines for council operations, including ethical governance, transparency, and anti-corruption measures
  • Conduct municipal Councils capacity building programmes
  • Maintain Stakeholder engagement and reporting.
