Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize day-to-day operational processes to ensure efficiency.
• Lead teams, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior staff.
• Monitor system and equipment performance, addressing inefficiencies or failures.
• Plan and execute projects while managing timelines, budgets, and objectives.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Manage operational budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• GCC Mines & Works (Electrical/Mechanical)
• 4 years’ post GCC experience in hard rock mining as an Engineer
• Extensive mechanised underground mining experience
• Valid Drivers’ License
