Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (B Tech or B degree) in Human Resources, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a payroll and benefits environment, with 3 years’ supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of SAP-based payroll administration is advantageous.
Key Performance Areas:
- Provide a professional corporate payroll and benefits administration service to clients.
- Manage and monitor the consistent application of approved business processes, control measures, and risk management.
- Oversee the project management aspects, ensuring compliance with approved payroll cut-off dates, absence management policies, and adjustments, to promote the production of quality payroll results that meet audit requirements.
- Supervise staff effectively, including performance management, leave and absence management, development, and handling disciplinary issues.
- Identify and advise on technology improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Analyze, balance, and reconcile complex accounts, financial data, and information.
- Maintain relationships to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with corporate policies.
