Senior Platform Engineer needed at Network Recruitment

• Our client, a technology company supporting international marketplaces, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer. They specialize in building and maintaining cutting-edge technology for Classifieds Marketplaces across the globe. 

What Will You Do?:

• Build and maintain vertical independent infrastructure, development pipelines, and software services, setting group-wide platform engineering standards.
• Research, P.O.C, and implementation of new technologies or services.
• Configuration and management of servers/instances via Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Automation scripting using Bash/Python/Groovy.
• Maintain Cloud Infrastructure primarily on AWS.
• Ensure reliability of CI/CD.
• Develop web-based tools and microservices to aid development workflows.
• Plan and implement backup scenarios, log-rotations, and scaling concepts.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
• Proactively improve products, systems, and processes.
• Deliver software and projects according to agreed timelines.
• Solve complex software bugs with tenacity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• At least 7 years of Operational expertise with AWS, Linux, and MySQL
• Strong experience with Terraform and Docker.
• Professional, self-motivated attitude with strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, open to constructive criticism and committed to delivering the best solutions.
• Comfortable in an agile and fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in technical and business aspects of the software development process.
• Team player willing to go above and beyond when needed.
