Senior Professional Nurse needed at University of Venda

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Advance Diploma in Nursing Sciences, Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment and Care.
•  He/she should have current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. A dispensing certificate or license is mandatory.
•  The candidate should have at least 4 years of experience as a professional nurse at an institution of higher learning.

Duties:

• Providing independent primary health care in a variety of clinical settings within the University to a specified population of non-emergency and emergency patients
• Providing Consultation and counselling to patients as a specialized practitioner.     
• Providing a high-quality service that Is proactive, and solution focused and responsive to patients’ needs.
