Key Performance Areas

  • Provide advice and guidance in the recruitment and sourcing of talent in collaboration with the Recruitment Centre of Expertise
  • Provide support on recruitment and selection initiatives and interventions to ensure the Directorate vacancy rate is well managed
  • Provide strategic input into workforce planning for the departments aligned to the overall workforce planning for the directorate
  • Facilitate the implementation of learning and development interventions and programmes
  • Identify scarce and critical skills as per staffing strategy and SDBIP in consultation with COE learning and development
  • Provide support on performance management initiatives and interventions
  • Provide support on organisational development initiatives and interventions by facilitating and implementing organisational development
  • Provide support on change management initiatives and interventions in partnership with the organisational development unit
  • Facilitate EAP initiatives within the directorate
  • Facilitate employee relations for the departments by receiving labour disputes and advising the Branches on corporate consistency requirements in relation to all disputes
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Support the HRBP in the coordination and implementation of cross-cutting corporate-wide HR related projects
