Utilizing ServiceNow for project orchestration and AWS for scalable infrastructure, the manager reduces operational risk in software implementation. Their leadership leverages data-driven insights to optimize project delivery and ensures the technical integrity of the group’s national digital platforms.
Overview:
- We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from initiation through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects, while ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- This role requires a strong leader with a proven ability to manage multiple high-level projects, engage stakeholders, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to align project outcomes with organizational goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of complex projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost control.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.
- Evaluate project performance and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and direction to project team members.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and experience.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Conduct performance evaluations and develop improvement plans as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Ensure team members adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
- Resolve conflicts and issues within the team promptly and effectively.
- Support the professional development and growth of team members through mentoring and training opportunities.
- Has the ability to be an Acting Programme Manager in his/her absence

Qualification and Experience:
- A bachelors degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Advanced Project Management certification or coursework is an added requirement.
- Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent essential.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a senior project management role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex and multi-stakeholder projects.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and tools.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, or equivalent).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Career Growth & Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Information Systems is required, with PMP or Agile certifications being essential. Career growth leads toward Portfolio Manager or Digital Strategy Director roles by mastering cloud-native project management. Salary & Financial Insight
