Job Purpose:

  • To monitor provision of municipal Roads and Storm Water Services.

Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6) in Civil Engineering/ Project Management/Water engineering/Transport Engineering/Construction Science/ Construction Management as recognised by SAQA
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in Built environment/project Management or roads and Storm water 
  • A valid driver’s license

Duties:

  • Provide technical support on municipal road and storm water infrastructure planning and development
  • Review implementation of paved and gravel road maintenance plans
  • Review implementation of storm water drainage maintenance plan
  • Review implementation of emergency intervention plans
  • Maintain stormwater drainage incident and project register
  • Review implementation of flood risk management plan
