Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6) in Development Studies/Public Administration/Public Management/Community Development/Social Science/Rural Development as recognised by SAQA
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience at Facilitation Officer
  • A valid driver’s license.

Duties:

  • Maintain and promote social cohesion in traditional communities
  • Maintain partnership between traditional Leadership institutions and other development agencies
  • Review participation of Traditional Leaders in the Municipal Council
  • Maintain identification of Traditional Council community development needs
  • Review progress of rural development programmes
