Qualification(s):

• National Diploma in Hydro Power Plant Process Control (NQF Level 5/6)                                              

Related Minimum Experience:

• 5 years – Operating related experience

Key Responsibilities

• Control shift work and plan activities.
• Supervise staff on shift.
• Implement Plant safety programme on shift.
• Assist Operating Manager to manage the continuity of supply without jeopardising plant and safety of personnel and to meet production requirements.
• Perform Operating activities.
• Enforce permit to work system.
• Manage Operating related incident investigation as delegated.
