Senior Specialist Planning- Value Chain needed at Anglo American

Job Description:
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Consistent application of Safety & Health principles in all discipline interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.
• Modelling and maintenance of the Qerent-based VCOM solution to support value chain optimization and scenario planning within the long-term financial planning and analysis discipline and more broadly across the Corporate Development function.
• The primary responsibilities in this role include the continued development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VCOM, inclusive of data warehousing and reporting cube.
• Manage and maintain the configuration of VCOM including data warehousing and reporting data model.
• Develop and maintain requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and VCOM flowcharts.
• Translate non-technical and user requirements into clear technical specifications for Qerent development.
• Implement a purpose-driven, high-performing culture that is aligned with the company values, is inclusive and promotes diversity, supports engagement and fosters continuous improvement to work processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Finance, or related field

Experience

• 5-7 years related experience

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

• Show interest and understanding of PGM processing value chain and related modelling
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Qerent platform.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the VCOM solution.
• Utilize strong numerical and analytical abilities to interpret data insights.
• Leverage expertise in value chain modelling to improve VCOM solution.
• Valid driver’s license
