Senior Water Services Officer needed at North West Department: Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs

Job Purpose:

• To monitor provision of municipal water and sanitation services.

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate
• Diploma/Degree (NQF 6) in Water Management/Water Sciences/Water and Sanitation/ Water Care/Water Resource Management/Water Engineering/Water Quality Management/Sanitation Management/ Environmental Sciences as recognised by SAQA
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Water and Sanitation environment
• A valid driver’s license

Duties:

• Provide technical support on municipal blue and green drop certification process
• Provide guidance on water quality Management and monitoring
• Provide technical support on municipal sanitation services, planning and monitoring
• Review implementation of municipal water and sanitation services development plans
• Maintain municipal compliance on water and sanitation quality standards
• Review water and sanitation municipal project plans.
