Your role and responsibilities

  • Coordinate Service work and ensure it complies with ABB’s and customer’s standards, procedures and policies. Single point of contact for the customer during the execution of a Service job.
  • The work model for the role is: Office based
  • This role is contributing to the Electrification in the Service Business.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Single point for customer: Builds and maintains sustainable relationship with customer. Manages customer requirements and customer enquiries. Ensures continuous communication.
  • Coordination: Quote, Coordinates, plans, schedules and oversees all LV Spare Service jobs with necessary resources, spare parts and logistics for site.
  • Contract management: Manages customer satisfaction by ensuring that ABB fulfils its contractual obligations and business requirements. Ensures the required quality is delivered and the health, safety and environmental issues are competently managed. Reviews the scope of the work and ensures that all parties fulfil their contractual obligations, particularly in regard to claims and changes.
  • Service order process: Manages the Service order process in a timely manner from quotation to invoicing and cash collection. Ensure timelines are met in terms of on time delivery.
  • Reporting and documentation: Manages all required reporting and documentation. Ensures all necessary data has been registered in a timely manner in the system.
  • One ABB: Cooperates and coordinates activities with other ABB units and teams to harmonize Service activities and to maximize Service sales at every opportunity. Ensures the transfer of Service findings to the product/system Local Business Units for improvement of their offerings

Qualifications for the role

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in SAP quotation.
  • 5 years experience with customer service or internal sales.
  • You are passionate about Electrification and you are innovative around relevant soft skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of low voltage products.
  • Business Online competence.
  • Tendering / Quotation experience.
  • Project Administration experience.
  • Ordering handling experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates EE candidates with disability.
  • You are at ease communicating in English
