Minimum requirements:

Education: 

  • A B. Eng or B. Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mining, or Industrial Engineering.

Proven experience:

  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience in an Earth Moving & Mobile Equipment environment, or relevant GCC Engineering experience (Mines & Works / Factories).

Summary description of role:

  • Leading Improvement Projects: Spearheading service operation improvement projects focused on internal process enhancement and loss elimination.
  • Driving Customer Satisfaction: Executing project management tasks that directly enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Authority: Offering expert technical support and guidance to operations for troubleshooting complex system issues.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Training, coaching, and mentoring operational staff and customers on Komatsu’s advanced machine ICT systems.
  • Safety Advocate: Coordinating and participating in safety programs, investigating compliance issues, and contributing to accident investigations.
  • Value-Added Services: Conducting site investigations and identifying improvement opportunities to drive cost-per-ton reductions.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Preparing and presenting insightful graphical representations of operational data.
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborating closely with OEMs, Senior Product Specialists, leadership, and operational stakeholders to resolve issues.
