Job Specification

  • Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, the incumbent will implement the company’s policies and procedures regarding occupational health and safety and ensuring that the company remains within applicable legal boundaries regarding SHEQ procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • B Degree (SHEQ related)
  • 3 years related experience in the SHEQ Retail and/or Retail Fuel industry
  • Valid Driver’s license

Growth

  • Promote the function through the creation of a SHEQ centric workforce, including advice and training
  • Effective people integration of acquired businesses into the Group’s SHEQ culture

Optimisation

  • Coordinate the implementation of incident management system
  • Implement incident management and SHEQ procedures
  • Facilitate SHEQ committee meetings
  • Conduct branch audits
  • Monitor contractor SHEQ compliance

Leveraging Culture & Diversity

  • Maintain internal and external stakeholder relations
  • Ensure adherence to legal and compliance requirements with local authorities
  • Provide critical customer feedback to management

Digital Transformation

  • Assist with the implementation of SHEQ Management System
