Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the plant team during your shift
- Ensure smooth operation of chrome processing circuits (DMS, spirals, screening)
- Monitor production output and ensure targets are met
- Enforce safety and environmental compliance on shift
- Perform equipment and area inspections; report any faults or incidents
- Complete shift handovers and accurate daily production reports
- Support and train junior staff and plant operators
- Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to minimize downtime
What We’re Looking For:
- National Certificate or Diploma in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in mineral processing (preferably chrome)
- 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-leading role
- Strong knowledge of plant operations and safety protocols
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays
