Site Engineer – Construction Industry needed at RPO Recruitment

Job Description

• RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading and well-established civil engineering contractor in Cape Town is seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer with a strong background in structural construction and concrete works.
• The Site Engineer will support site operations by ensuring that structural and concrete works are executed to design specifications, on schedule, and within budget.
• The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale civil projects and a strong technical understanding of concrete structures, formwork, and reinforcement detailing.

Requirements:

• BTech or BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering
• Candidate registration with ECSA advantageous
• Minimum 3 years’ site-based experience with a civil contractor
• Proven track record in structural concrete works, including large infrastructure projects
• Experience with reinforcement detailing, concrete technology, and setting out
• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
• Valid driver’s license
