Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field;
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social media and/or event management;
- Experience in or interest in the agricultural sector is strongly recommended;
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to rural areas.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the agricultural community and communication in a rural context;
- Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English;
- Proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite and other social media management platforms;
- Self-motivated with good planning and time management skills;
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and content creation;
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills;
- Experience in event planning, preferably in an agricultural or rural environment;
- Basic photography and videography skills would be a bonus.
