About the Role

Social Work Interns assist clinical teams and patient care programs using platforms like Workday, SAP, and ServiceNow, supporting operational efficiency and compliance.

A vacancy exists for an unemployed University graduate in Social Work in support of HWSETA to participate in a Learnership project based at Life Health Solutions, Dunkeld Randburg, Gauteng reporting to the Wellness Team Leader

Critical Outputs

Social Work Intern program:

  • Data capturing and management
  • General office administration as required
  • Work on special callback projects
  • Affiliate recruitment, orientation
  • Shadowing with other therapists in the care centre to obtain skills and learnings regarding counselling and clinical aspects
  • Case management aspects
  • Adhere to all benchmarks related to different administration functions (for example, Major Joints for Life Healthcare; allocations related to outbound requests received; quality reviews; invoicing; managerial case referral allocation; case management; and mailbox management).

Requirements

  • Intern must be unemployed to qualify for this project
  • Matric
  • University Degree in Social Work
  • Intern must not have been part of HWSETA internship programme in prior years
  • Computer proficiency (MS office programs are required)
  • Excellent telephonic and written communication skills
