Software Engineer: Full Stack needed at Capitec Bank

About the role:

• The Level III Software Engineer is a key member of a cross-functional team, responsible for the entire software development lifecycle from concept to operation. They design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and future requirements. Additionally, they guide and support developers and stakeholders in resolving engineering problems.
• The Full Stack Software Engineer develops and maintains both front-end and back-end components of web applications, working on all layers of the application stack. They build solutions that offer optimal performance, reliability, and scale, while creating great client experiences.
• This role also involves managing integrations from Salesforce to external systems via Spring Cloud Gateway and overseeing automation testing, requiring Salesforce knowledge.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Grade 12 National Certificate (Minimum)
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (Preferred) 
• 6+ years’ proven experience in Full stack software development, project delivery and implementation (in relevant development technologies/language).

• CRM integration Knowledge
