About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you’ll perform research, design, and software development assignments within a DevOps functional area or product line.

Responsibilities

• Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
• Working closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Collaborating with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
• Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
• Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Resolving technical issues and completing bug fixes, as necessary.

Requirements

• Demonstrate extensive experience in software engineering or DevOps
• Have experience in programming (PowerShell)
• Have experience with an CI/CD tool or process such as Azure DevOps
• Have experience working in infrastructure as code
• Have experience with Azure Cloud services or similar providers
• Have experience with a container technology
• Have knowledge of test-driven development
• Have knowledge of DNS, cloud routing, subnets, endpoints
• Have ability to complete bug fixes
