Key Performance Areas:

• Responsibilities include completing the tasks of test tool/environment authoring, test planning, test case creation, execution, debugging, & defect analysis/reporting. Improving efficiency through process improvements & adopting new test methodologies. Improving test effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant software testing certification (e.g. ISTQB Foundation Level) will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 or more years’ experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Sound knowledge of software testing principles, including integration, functional, and performance testing.
• Experience in test development, test planning, test execution, defect management, and test optimisation.
• Familiarity with testing standards, guidelines, methodologies, processes, and testing tools.
• Ability to take ownership of quality issues and collaborate effectively across teams to drive resolution.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within the Scrum framework.
