• The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for working within an Agile Release Train (ART) to define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision to help ensure the system or solution under development is fit for its intended purpose.

What you will love doing in this role

• Analysing the technology environment and enterprise specifics.
• Identifying the stakeholders, helping to analyse and understand the requirements and extracting those of architectural significance.
• Assure feasibility and sustainability of solution proposals.
• Design and evolve the technical solution for customers and stakeholders.
• Manage non-functional requirements and compliance.
• Maintain the architectural runway.
• Define and prioritise enablers.
• Enable continuous delivery.
• Participating in technology selection and managing suppliers thereafter.
• Setting the collaboration framework and actively communicating the architecture.
• Supporting solution development by making sure developers can realise the solution.
• Verifying the implemented solution.

Requirements
What you’ll need to do this role

• Engineering/Computer Science related degree or similar qualification.
• 8+ years of software engineering or other technical implementation experience
• 3+ years of experience of IT Infrastructure and cloud development
• 5+ years’ experience of business analysis
• 3+ years’ experience of engineering and software architecture design
• 3+ years’ experience of DevOps 
• Project/Product Management experience a plus
• eCommerce/Retail industry experience a plus
