Description

Support Technology Strategy & Innovation

  • Assist in process change and best practice recommendations for customers post-implementation of the solution.
  • Responsible for automation and continuous improvement in collaboration with team members.
  • Conduct research on trends and directions in technology that guide solutions with future-state in mind.
  • Work with the team on ideation sessions to create innovative competitive solutions and a roadmap to achieve.
  • Leverage analysis and testing tools, frameworks, and techniques to define and organize business requirements.
  • Understand and leverage the knowledge of the organization’s technical landscape, environment, and broader architecture to define integration points across technology stacks for various requirements.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s technology environment through regular client engagements and research.

Execute Analysis and Design Activities

  • Work in collaboration with the team to clarify and understand requirements, challenges, and design needs.
  • Provide guidance and assistance in evaluating and proposing system solutions that meet user requirements.
  • Prepare analysis documentation, i.e., Business Requirement Documents or User Requirement Specifications for solution design.
  • Develop and document business requirements into user stories and specifications with integration points, business and associated risks or opportunities included.
  • Accountable for coordinating the design and planning of functional tests.

Technical implementation within own area

  • Provide strategic design and implementation of over technology ECO system.
  • Deliver design solutions and conduct periodic implementation reviews.
  • Provide input on product development and deployment methods.
  • Keep up with the latest technology industry trends relating to application architecture.
  • Deliver solutions that adhere to SBV ICT standards, policies and practices.
  • Participate and assist in the discovery or inception workshops to create a shared understanding of user needs and the potential al technology solutions required to deliver to these needs.

Quality and Risk Management

  • Test all solution aspects, including but not limited to acceptance, security, performance, and integration.
  • Provide input in iteration meetings (planning meetings, daily standup).
  • Implement adequate levels ofsolution governance that are fit for purpose whilst supporting solution delivery.
  • Proactively engage with departments on governance and processes to manage change requests.
  • Participate in Change Board interactions and maintain compliance with all ICT policies and procedures.

Business Partnering and Customer Support

  • Maintain effective communication and regular engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with commercial, UX, technology, support, testing, and other SMEs to analyse user needs and requirements.
  • Maintain timeliness in accordance with SLAs.
  • Responsible for the review of vendor engagements.

Effective teamwork and self-management

  • Train, mentor and provide guidance to Level 1 Solutions Analyst.
  • Coaching and training fellow colleagues and users when necessary.
  • Maintain good time management to handle several projects at once.
  • Plan and priorities competing demands, demonstrating the ability to manage them.
  • Protect and maintain the confidentiality of critical business systems and data.
  • Adhere to SBV’s development standards and principles.

Drive the organization culture

  • Drive the department’s values while inspiring confidence and generating excitement, enthusiasm and commitment towards the mission.
  • Provide leadership to employees within the organization, creating a winning culture and high morale.
  • Initiate and lead a culture of performance driven output through shared purpose vision and values.
  • Act as a change management architect during periods of change to maintain continuity to operations.
  • Effectively communicate and embed new processes and procedures as they occur, addressing or escalating matters/concerns to the SME’s (subject matter experts) when required.

Requirements

work Experience

  • 6 years of experience in a Business or Systems Analyst role.
  • 3 years of experience in a functional or business consulting role
  • 3 years of experience in Integration Systems

Education

  • Degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce or similar
  • Cloud certifications AWS or AZURE OR GCP (Advantageous)
  • Certification in relevant Enterprise Architecture or Technology frameworks and methodologies (Advantageous)
