- Datacentrix is looking for a highly skilled Solutions Architect specializing in Microsoft, Backup, Hypervisor, and general back-office technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft security, infrastructure, and client engagement applications such as Microsoft Teams and M365. They should be proficient in both on-premise and cloud technologies, with strong communication, presentation, and engagement skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at C and M levels. Qualifications & Certifications:
Required:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or equivalent.
- Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (M365).
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent Hypervisor certification.
- Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or equivalent certification in backup solutions (e.g., Rubrik Certified Systems Administrator, Commvault Certified Professional).
Preferred:
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) or equivalent.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a Solution Architect or similar role.
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise IT solutions.
- Prior experience engaging with senior executives and technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with hybrid IT environments (on-premise and cloud).
- Demonstrated experience in responding to tenders and conducting presentations.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, M365, and Azure.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, Rubrik, or equivalent).
- Experience with hypervisors such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
- Good understanding of security principles, compliance, and Microsoft security solutions.
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and solution demonstration skills.
- Experience in responding to tenders, RFPs, and RFIs.
- Strong general IT knowledge, including networking, storage, and system administration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and oversee solutions across Microsoft technologies, backup solutions, hypervisors, and back-office IT environments.
- Engage with clients at C and M levels to gather requirements, present solutions, and articulate business value.
- Develop and document solution architectures aligned with business needs and technical requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on Microsoft security best practices and infrastructure management.
- Support the adoption and integration of Microsoft Teams, M365, and other client engagement applications.
- Work with both on-premise and cloud technologies to ensure seamless IT operations and transformation.
- Assist in tender responses, proposals, and technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations and solution workshops.
- Stay up to date with emerging IT trends, security risks, and technology advancements.
