Solutions Architect ((Postilion) needed at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• Design and implement end-to-end solutions for card management and transaction switching systems.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define system requirements and business goals.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers.

Our ideal candidates

• At least 7 years’ experience in systems architecture / design 
• 5 – 10 years’ experience working proven knowledge of and experience with Card Management Systems
• 3-5 year’s enterprise architecture frameworks and business process modelling.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and security protocols.
• Experience in cloud computing environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps practice
• Linux Server
• Card Management/Transaction Switching Systems
• SQL Server/Postgres/Oracle
• C#/Java
• Familiar with containerization technologies
• A thorough understanding of PCI DSS and ISO8583

Minimum Education

• Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational

Ideal Education:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Management
