Special Worksman/TLB Operator – Electrical MN 3930/25 needed at Midvaal Local Municipality

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12  Code 10 (C1) driver’s license with PDP. Certificate in operating a TLB Machine  Excellent communication and supervisory skills. Excellent Skilful handling and operating of TLB Machine.  Excellent knowledge of various hand tools and electrical equipment.  
• A hard working and selfdisciplined person. 02 to 03 years of relevant experience working in an electrical environment, within a Local Government Authority, operating a TLB machine.

DUTIES

• Operating vehicle daily productively and ensuring that safety and traffic rules are followed.  
• Ensures and protects the vehicle and the work area with road signs for the safety of road users during the excavation process.
•  Operates the TLB for digging of trenches and general road excavations to ensure effective construction and maintenance of electrical related matters.
•  Cooperates fully and consultation with the supervisors of the section through receiving and dispatching of works orders to ensure productivity as a prime work purpose to fulfil the service delivery to the rate payers of the council. Responsible for the cleanliness, lubricating and works orders regarding all maintenance on vehicle  
• Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Supervisor from time to time.
