Job Description

Shape and execute the internal marketing and communication strategy and plans across multiple marketing channels, for an allocated portfolio within Standard Bank Group. Partner with assigned business portfolio to plan, scope and deliver impactful internal marketing and communications initiatives, across geographies, in support of the business strategies and objectives

Qualifications

  • A relevant degree in Marketing

Experience:

  • 5-7 years Proven experience in internal communication.
  • Strong writing skills. editing, employee engagement channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive internal marketing and communication strategy and plans for allocated business portfolio in alignment with the broader Group Marketing strategy and business requirements.
  • Embed the Group Brand and People Initiatives through every marketing and communication activity in order to improve employee engagement and to promote Standard Bank as the employee brand of choice. Develop and execute effective internal communication plans, that foster positive employee engagement across multiple internal marketing channels, in line with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement internal marketing strategies and campaigns to increase internal online engagement, across identified optimal and relevant multi-media format channels to build and enhance reputation with internal audiences
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, across business units and geographies, driving collaboration to deliver relevant communication or planned internal marketing objectives Provide input in the development of portfolio strategies, plans and objectives. Create and define key reputational messages, as well as ensure the dissemination of these messages takes place, through the appropriate channels, for the relevant business area.
  • Providing communications guidelines and advice to business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication initiatives are realised and leveraged in line with overall company and business objectives
