KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To manage and implement platform projects from conceptual phase to implementation.
- To design products/components and or make improvements/changes to existing products/ components in line with market requirements and trends.
- To manage and implement cost reduction/quality improvement projects.
- To ensure products comply to standard requirements.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, testing prototypes, and collecting data to evaluate product performance.
- Keeping abreast of the latest scientific advancements and industry regulations.
- Working with cross-functional teams like marketing, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure smooth product development and commercialization.
- Studying market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify potential areas for innovation.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or related field.
- Experience in 2D & 3D drawing and modelling.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production or R&D based environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Product Development/Project Management experience would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of Sheet Metal Design Principles, Plastic & Electrical components would also be advantageous.
