Responsibilities
Job Overview:
- Inspect the condition of pallets before use to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
- Check and record the weight of bags manually to maintain accurate documentation.
- Verify that the correct product bar-code is applied to all items to ensure proper identification and traceability.
- Perform routine checks to ensure printers are in good working condition.
- Confirm the proper presentation and packaging of products.
- Inspect pallet condition prior to use to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Verify and manually record bag weights as required.
- Ensure accurate product barcodes are applied to all items.
- Maintain neat and secure wrapping of barcoded products.
- Stack pallets in a straight and organized manner to optimize storage and transport.
- Check the integrity of wrapped products before despatch.
Qualifications
- Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification.
- 12 months’ experience in a similar environment.
- Health and safety standards.
