Role Summary

  • We are seeking a Stock Controller Assistant to join our team. This role will support the Business Support and Asset team by managing monthly stock control and daily stock movements across various regions in South Africa. The successful candidate will ensure accurate stock levels and seamless integration between Freshdesk and Palladium systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels on the company ERP, promptly flagging low inventory.
  • Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Process stock movements within the ERP based on real-time inventory data.
  • Coordinate stock control activities with store personnel and the asset team.
  • Assist with placing replenishment orders as required.
  • Support stock storage processes, including proper labeling.
  • Update Freshdesk ticket stock quantities within the ERP system.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Technical Competencies

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with stock management systems (ERP – Palladium advantageous).
  • Familiarity with Freshdesk.

Behavioural Competencies

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proactive and takes initiative.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
  • High attention to detail.
