  • Clover is recruiting for a Stock Controller: Maintenance.  The main function of this position is to provide support in terms of provision of engineering parts and stock control at the Bloemfontein Production branch. 

Requirements    

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 
  • Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level.  
  • Business English: Fluent 
  • Computer literacy (High)
  • Code 08 Driver’s license  
  • Experience in EAM and On Key Maintenance systems will be an advantage.
  • Experience in Excel.
  • Experience in Word.

Duties and Responsibilities    

Oversee and manage stock, as well as perform administrative tasks.

  • Coordinate and track all stock movements, including ordering, receiving, issuing, returning, and managing stock on hand.
  • Ensure stock levels are consistently maintained.
  • Follow stock management procedures in line with RH instructions and the annual maintenance audit requirements.
  • Assist with quarterly financial stock counts.
  • Conduct cycle counts (daily, weekly, and monthly).
  • Monitor the quality of received stock, ensuring orders are complete and parts are undamaged.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels based on average usage over the past 24 months.
  • Report any stock-related issues promptly.
  • Assist with direct purchases and direct stock management.
  • Provide weekly updates on outstanding orders.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager on creating new part numbers.
  • Implement and manage the Second-Hand Store.
  • Organize the store layout for improved control and efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain obsolete stock.
  • Upload certificates for lab equipment, forklift load tests, and lifting equipment calibrations into Entropy.
  • Coordinate lifting equipment AIA inspections and forklift load tests.
  • Address invoice and purchase order inquiries.
  • Promptly respond to management requests as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping. 
  • Ensure accurate data entry and transaction recording in the Clover accounting system.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and requests.
  • Ensure proper transaction processing in maintenance systems.
  • Provide administrative support during staff absences.
