Key Responsibilities
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate store staff.
- Create and manage employee schedules.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
Operations
- Oversee daily store activities to ensure efficiency.
- Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Sales & Customer Service
- Set and achieve sales and profit targets.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Inventory & Financial Management
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and cash handling procedures.
- Prepare reports on sales trends, customer behavior, and profitability.
Leadership
- Organize regular staff meetings to align team goals.
- Motivate and mentor employees to achieve performance objectives.
Qualification and Experience
- matric is required; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Several years in retail, with supervisory or management experience.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in retail operations and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
