Storeman Buyer – George needed at Unitrans

Job Advert Summary    

• Unitrans is seeking to employ an experienced Storeman. This role is responsible for managing and organizing inventory to support the smooth operation of passenger transport services. The successful candidate will ensure that supplies and equipment are efficiently stored, tracked, and distributed to maintain optimal service levels and operational readiness. 

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimun qualification: Grade 12 / Matric / National Senior Certificate
• 2 years Working experience in an Automotive environment
• Experience with procurement, and sourcing of various components

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Good communicator, and able to negotiate pricing options
• Ability to work independently, and make collection and delivery arrangements of parts
• Stores and parts buying experience
• Must be able to work irregular hours
• Fair understanding of commercial vehicles, and identification of basic components
• Must have own transport
