Storeman needed at RCL Foods

Job Description    

• At RCL Foods, we are currently seeking a Storeman to join our baking division. This role will be based in Pretoria West and will report to the Senior Buyer. The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that there is sufficient stock holding of essential spare parts to ensure continuity to the business operations.

Minimum Requirements    
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• Tertiary qualification in a related field will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an FMCG or similar environment.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Highly developed sense of order.
• Be able to take initiative.
• Ability to perform duties with accuracy.
• Have good teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• To help customers at the issue and receiving counter in a friendly and professional manner
• Capturing of SSR’s and invoices and following up on outstanding invoices.
• Assist with the loading and off-loading of both stock and non-stock items.
• Perform monthly stocktake and assist with quarterly stock counts.
• Complete GRA’s for all returns and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ procedures.
• Report and or escalate any areas of non- compliance appropriately.
• Oversee filing and safeguarding of records within area of responsibility.
• Processing of documents for intercompany charge outs.
• Loading of workflows for spares.
• Requesting of quotations from Supplier.
• Building Supplier relationships.
• Ensuring minimum and maximum stock levels are obtained.
• Following up on outstanding P.Os.
• Providing daily updates on spares delivered to Maintenance Foreman and Maintenance manager.
• Booking spares in and out on the Syspro system on a daily basis.
• Good housekeeping practices and maintaining a neat and tidy store.
• Ensuring all stores procedures and policies are being adhered to by maintenance staff.
