About the Role
Stores Clerks manage procurement and inventory using SAP, Oracle, and Workday, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation in hospital supply chains.
Main Focus Areas
- Complement the Procurement Department and supporting the Buyer and Stores Assistant by liaising with all stakeholders and performing various tasks related to Procurement and Stock Management. Provide reliable and efficient service to all stakeholders.
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)
- Procurement i.e. liaise with suppliers & service providers, obtain quotations, generate purchase orders, expedite orders, and receive orders.
- Administrative tasks i.e. capturing invoices, stock counts and records managements, compile statistics.
- Accept responsibility of the Procurement Department in the absence of the Buyer i.e. manage all activities and tasks of the department.
- Housekeeping i.e. ensure that all stock is stored safely, and the department is maintained neatly.
- Communication i.e. interact with all stakeholders and communicate efficiently, both verbal and written.
- Perform tasks related to Procurements & Stores
Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)
- Grade 12 or equivalent – Essential
- Computer literacy i.e. Microsoft Office – Essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written – Essential
- SAP experience – Advantageous
- Hospital experience – Advantageous

Salary & Financial Insight
