Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key strategic accounts, understanding their needs and aligning Epiroc’s offerings to meet those needs.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the underground mining market, focusing on capital equipment sales and contracts.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements, ensuring favourable terms and conditions while adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the underground mining sector.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and customer support, to deliver tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance against targets, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a liaison between Epiroc and customers, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of service throughout the sales process.
Required Skills and Capabilities
- Minimum of 10 years or more of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the mining or heavy equipment industries.
- Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and closing high-value contracts.
- Strong understanding of underground mining capital equipment and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
