Strategic Business Developer Job at FNB South Africa

Job Purpose:

• The Successful candidate will work with distribution teams, Channel Mangers, BDMs, the Channels and product houses to execute sales outcomes. In other words, plays a central role in ensuring that the Tied Advice department runs efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with strategic goals. They help translate strategies into action.

Role Responsibilities:

• Help develop and execute business strategies to achieve goals.
• Collaborate and co-ordinate across functional teams (sales, product houses and marketing teams) to drive revenue.
• Use data insights to review trends and identifies growth opportunities in the channels being supported.
• Align departmental objectives with initiatives.
• Help to oversees day-to-day business operations.
• Streamlines processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Ensures compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
• Acts as a liaison between departments, senior leadership, and external partners.
• Helps prepare reports and presentations for executives.
• Communicates business performance and strategic updates.
• Helps define target markets, pricing strategies, and campaign plans.
• Monitors performance and feedback from channels, Product Houses etc.
• Helps manage sales content and materials.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

• An honour’s or master’s degree would be advantageous (engineering/ management or business studies preferable)
• 5 years’ experience in similar role.
• Experience in understanding invest and insure products
