Job Purpose:

• This is a leadership role within the Business Consulting Department of SNG Grant Thornton. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing data management strategies and IT solutions to help clients optimise their business operations and achieve their strategic objectives.

Job Description:

• Developing a strategy, framework and core service offering for strategic data management and IT consultancy that will add value to our clients.
• Business development of the service line through marketing, profiling and selling.
• Leading a team of consultants to deliver data management and IT consulting services to clients
• Developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies to ensure the quality, security, and integrity of client data
• Providing strategic guidance and recommendations to clients on leveraging data analytics and IT tools to drive business growth and performance
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address client needs and opportunities for improvement
• Managing client relationships and delivering high-quality, value-added services that meet or exceed client expectations
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in data management and IT consulting to continuously improve service offerings and deliver innovative solutions

Qualification:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field.
• A master’s degree or certifications in data management and IT are preferred

Experience:

• At least 7-10 years of experience in strategic data management and IT consultancy, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing complex projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to make strategic business decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and mentoring a team of data management and IT professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of data management best practices, IT governance, data security, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Experience in working with audit and advisory firms or consulting firms is preferred.
• Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, such as SQL, Tableau, Hadoop, and data visualization tools.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
