Superintendent: Distribution (Uitenhage) needed at Nelson Mandela Bay Metro

Qualifications and experience required:

• Qualified Electrician.
• Three to four years’ relevant experience.

Special conditions attached to the position:

• A valid Code B driver’s licence.
• As part of the selection process, the recommended candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination at the Municipality’s Occupational Health and Safety Division.

Job purpose:

• Assisting with and supervising the maintenance, installation and repair of electricity supply with respect to street, area and sports field lighting and overhead lines, including repairs to electrical networks in the case of breakdowns.
• As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
