Supervisor/Driver (Environmental Management) needed at Nelson Mandela Bay Metro

Qualifications and experience required:

• Grade 10 qualification.
• Pest control certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence with Public Driver’s Permit (PDP).
• Twelve months’ relevant experience.

Key attributes and competencies:

• Required to work in all weather conditions.
• Required to bend, stretch and lift machines of up to 20 kg.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Job purpose:

• Performing specific tasks/activities in a designated area associated with environmental services using heavy vehicles and transporting personnel/materials to and from site, communicating and clarifying requirements with respect to the processes and correcting deviations in work related sequences.
• As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
